Colour Measurements

Colour Measurements

Generally, colour measurements of objects and thick fluids can be done in different setups, e.g. using reflection probes or an integrating sphere.

A spectrometer is needed with a range from 380 to 780nm and a spectral resolution of 5nm FWHM. In addition, a continuous white light source and a white reflective tile is required.

For the different applications, different probes can be used.

A typical setup for colour measurements in reflection is given in the ilustration above.
