Reflection Probes for Powders & Thick Fluids

The FCR-7xx200-2-45 is a reflection probe to get spectral information of powders or highly absorbing fluids.
The probe end is simply dipped into the powder or liquid to make the measurement.
Via a standard SMA905 connector, light is coupled into a fibre bundle consisting of 6 fibres and carried to the probe end where it lights up the material to be analysed through a silica window under 45 degrees. This angle is necessary to avoid direct reflections from the window. The powder or fluid will selectively reflect light back into a 7th fibre. This fibre transfers the data to the output SMA905 connector which can be coupled to a spectrometer or a spectrum analyser.
